Abbey Ammerman

MA, LPC

For Abbey, it is a joy and honor to meet with people wherever they are on their journey in life towards healing and wholeness. Working from the belief that healing begins and flourishes in the context of safe and healthy relationships, Abbey seeks to hold a safe space for people to be authentic about their struggles and then collaborate with her clients to work through their issues. She believes that people are created as physical, spiritual, and emotional beings and seeks to connect all aspects of a person’s life in order to help them move towards the holistic healing and wellness they desire.

Whether someone is looking to mend relationships that feel broken, make sense of what they’re experiencing, tend to the parts of themselves that have been neglected, or is just wrestling with the difficulties life brings, Abbey seeks to provide a safe, peaceful, and nonjudgmental environment for clients. When people reach out for help on their healing journey, Abbey honors the courage and hope it takes to bring someone into the most vulnerable parts of a person’s life.

Abbey works with all ages of adults dealing with depression, anxiety, relational and interpersonal conflict, boundary issues, grief, trauma and spiritual issues.

Abbey lives in Dallas with her husband and enjoys spending time outdoors, being active, reading, traveling, serving at church, and spending time with friends and family.

Education: MA in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary;
BA in Interior Design from Oklahoma State University.
