Ariana Arevalo

MA, LPC

Ariana considers it an honor and a privilege to walk alongside you in your journey towards personal wellness. She believes in the healing power of relationships, whether that be with yourself or others. 

Ariana knows of the courage it takes to make the first step in reaching out to seek therapy. She believes people are uniquely created and is passionate about empowering clients in their inspiration for change and healing. Ariana’s goal is to create a safe, accepting, and authentic environment for you to experience growth and healing. She integrates complementary techniques and methodologies catered to the client’s specific needs. She believes that incorporating a holistic approach to counseling will strengthen the therapeutic process.

Ariana works with children, tweens, teens, and adults dealing with depression, anxiety, substance use, suicidal ideation, sexuality, trauma, and interpersonal/relational issues. In addition, she focuses on providing treatment for other complex issues, such as struggles with shame and low self-worth, social-emotional learning, codependency, spiritual stress, and high conflict families. 

Ariana is both bilingual and bicultural, which allows her the ability to recognize the value and need for a safe space for individuals struggling with societal prejudices, cultural expectations, and family of origin issues. Ariana is passionate about breaking down barriers and creating bridges for the Latinx community and Mental Health. She desires to partner with schools to support Spanish speaking families in intersecting mental health and education. 

Ariana lives in Dallas, TX. Outside of counseling, she enjoys hikes, sports games, traveling, watching comedy shows, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Education: MA in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary;
BA in Psychology from University of North Texas.
